Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday, and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯,many wanted to see it but didn't, so we are all blessed. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk as I slept a little longer this morning 😹. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and then the afternoon saw me go out to the mall for some groceries and window shopping😹.
Then I was back home for a short but refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some you tube videos and news. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk, a rather short one just to stretch out my legs. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, just another quiet Sunday. On the continent we are following the ongoings in Niger. The army leaders have announced a three year period of transition back into democratic rule. Meanwhile the sanctions of ECOWAS and wider international community are starting to take effect. There is shortage of electricity, food and medicines, which will get worse with time🙀.
Globally, Ukraine trending as president Zelensky was on a visit to Netherlands where the Dutch have pledged to supply some F16, US made aircrafts to Ukraine. Denmark has pledged 19 F-16s too🎊. Ukrainian pilots will have to be trained, however this will make a big difference in their counteroffensive against Russia💯. I don't know how long it will take.
Speaking of Russia,their first moon mission in 47 years has failed.The lunar 25 spacecraft lost control and crashed into the moon😹.
Let's go across the pond to Ecuador where they have been having the presidential election. Remember one contender was killed lastweek as he campaigned.May the best candidate win 💯. There is one candidate who says El Salvador president, Nayib Bukele is his mentor/hero. So if he wins, he may make BTC legal tender in Ecuador😹 just like El Salvador did?, who knows his stand on that. Remember there is another serious pro bitcoin presidential candidate in Argentina in their upcoming October elections. It's going to be interesting seeing a few more countries adopt bitcoin.
Not far off, Guatemala also trending as they held presidential runoff election. Two strong candidates are competing, may the best candidate win 💯.
Spain trending as they lifted their very first women's FIFA world cup with a win over England down under in Sydney Australia. Congratulations to them🎊 well done and well-deserved🎉. Spain once lost 4:0 to Japan but am glad that didn't dampen their spirit. They emerged ultimate winners as the tournament finished off. Though not as popular as the men's event, they are slowly catching up😹.
