Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain and as always glad you stopped by. It's been a great day and as it fades away, I am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share some of the trending stories that made headlines. Thank you for reading and let's get started 💨.
So as usual, I kicked off early with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning and I enjoyed the fresh morning breeze.
Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a quick stop at the mall for groceries. Next, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of you tube. The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.There are arrangements of the safari rally that is coming up some time this month.
On the continent in Sudan, the one day ceasefire largely held, residents in Khartoum report a day of relative calm. The aim of the ceasefire was distribution of humanitarian aid to people trapped by the war.
Globally, Ukraine trending as president Zelensky has confirmed that a counter offensive is underway. He said he had discussed tactics with senior army officials. They are not saying much so as not to alert Russia on their next moves😹.
Meanwhile, Canadian PM Trudeau is in Ukraine and has promised to keep helping and supporting Ukraine💯.
Then in the UK, a big headache for PM Rishi Sunak as a second ally of Boris Johnson also resigned🙀. Triggering three by elections.
In the middle east, Israel trending as resilient protesters returned to the streets for the 23rd week😹. They are protesting against judicial reforms that would give parliament power over the supreme court🙀.
Across the pond in the US, after yesterday's indictment, Trump was out on the campaign trail in north Carolina and Georgia. He will be due in court on Tuesday to face charges. Let's see how that goes.
Trending in Columbia, four siblings who survived a plane crash have been found alive🎉🎊. That's 40 days since the crash that killed their mother and two more adults. The oldest 14 and youngest one year old have survived the Amazon jungle for all those days.
Finally, Man city have just won the champions league in a thrilling match against Inter Milan in Istanbul 🎉 guess it's congratulations to them🎊. This has been their year having previously won the premier league and FA cup. Way to go😹.
