Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Just another ordinary day and the stepping continued unabated. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯,many wanted to see it but didn't, so we are all blessed. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some groceries. Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news, There was also some interesting football matches going on. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹., politicians attended church services with the same usual talk.
Globally, Turkiye trending after an explosion rocked a busy pedestrian street in Istanbul 🙀. They have confirmed that 6 people have been killed and upto 81 injured😭. My sincere condolences to all the bereaved families. That same street was also targeted by isil in 2016. No one has claimed responsibility for today. It is claimed that it was a lady who probably had explosives strapped on her🙀. A wild world out here...
Elsewhere in Ukraine, I didn't see much just that clean up of Kherson kept going. Many areas are without power and water, which are slowly being restored.
Across the pond in the US, Democrats won the Nevada seat to reclaim control of the Senate💯. The predicted republican wave failed to materialize , I guess exit polls should never be trusted😹.
Over in the middle east, Netanyahu has been prompted to form a new govt as he made a come back as PM.
Finally, the Iranian man who lived at Paris airport, Charles de Gaulle for 18 years has died aged 75 of a heart attack😭. His life inspired the movie terminal. My sincere condolences to his family.
What a week we have had in crypto with that collapse of FTX, hopefully we have all learned the importance of holding our own keys or self custody, no sending BTC or crypto to third parties for some return or leaving it on exchanges. Let's hope the market will rebound quickly💯.
