Hello everyone 👋,
Please give it up for Bob and yours truly on this wonderful Caturday 😹; I earlier christened it- Bob on the blockchain day😹.
It's been another ordinary day stepping it out. As always am grateful for this day, as I always say, there are many who wanted to see it but didn't, so we are definitely blessed💯. Thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including trending news from around the globe. Lets take it away 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a stop at the mall for groceries. After a bit of walking and window shopping, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube.
I noticed some interesting soccer ⚽ matches going on. For those who follow football, I was surprised by Nottingham forest winning against Liverpool🙀. While injury-time equalizer helped man u draw against Chelsea 😹.
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹, today was the last day of vetting of the new ministers by Parliament.
Globally, Ukraine trending, the counter offensive in Kherson kept going, Ukrainian soldiers continued their advance 👋. Meanwhile, Russian backed officials have asked civilians to leave the area immediately as increased shelling expected 🙀. Ukraine called it mass deportation. Some parts of Ukraine without power especially in the west where rockets have continued hitting power and water supplies..
Elsewhere, in Italy, Giorgia Meloni sworn in as Italy's first female prime minister 👋. This amid tensions within Meloni's coalition after partner, Berlusconi boasted about ties with Putin 🙀.
Across the pond in Columbia, large protests against the president's planned economic reforms. Including more taxes for high earners and also removing some companies tax cuts 🙀.
In Asia, China's communist party congress was underway, making the needed amendments to formally give president Xi Jinping his third term in office tomorrow.
Finally in crazy weather, a category 4 hurricane named Roslyn is set to hit Mexico. Damaging winds of 215kmph (130mph) and coastal flooding expected on Sunday when she makes landfall 🙀. I guess she's a bad girl 😹.
