Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Another active day is fading away and as bed 💤 time approaches it's time to wrap things up and get ready for Thursday. Thank you for reading and let's get going 💨.
I started my day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. A cloudy day but with lots of wonderful fresh air 🍃.
Then I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. It was independence day, national holiday, with the usual long presidential speech.
Globally, Ukraine still trending. Russia kept shelling in the Donbas region.Today Russia warned that giving weapons to Ukraine was like adding fuel to the fire😱.
Meanwhile, US and Germany are sending more precision weapons😹 to help Ukraine push out the Russians. More political shenanigans as Russia cut off gas supply to Denmark as they refused to pay in roubles. Earlier last month they've cut off Poland and Finland.
Over in crypto bitcoin was rejected at 32k mark and is currently at 29k😱. Just when we thought it was talking off. Let's keep hodling as we look out for the bottom. June has started bearish 😵.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then headed back home 🏡. Next came the usual nap 💤 dreaming off until sometime early evening. I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in the UK, a four day holiday to celebrate Queen's platinum jubilee. The queen 👑 setting a record as she becomes the first British monarch to reign 70 years👏, such a trailblazer, congratulations to her🎉. Across the pond in the US, the jury has sided with Johnny Depp in the case against Amber Heard. Elsewhere in Shanghai, celebration as the two month covid lockdown came to an end, residents now free to leave home. Those Chinese don't joke, they have kept a city of 25 million on strict lockdown with everything closed down 😱. People would usually bang on pots and pans as they continuously ran out of essentials.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. I followed the usual route, slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. It looked like it would rain ☔ but it didn't..
