Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's the last Sunday of the month and the stepping continued unabated. It's been a wonderful day and am here to share how it went and also some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨 .
So just like yesterday , I started with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. It was around nine o'clock and the morning breeze 🍃 was incredible 💯.
Then I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. It's the weekend and elections campaigning is in high gear.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, today president Zelensky visited the front line of battle scarred northeast in Kharkiv. Meanwhile Russia shelling in the east kept going. Elsewhere Colombians are having their presidential election with the left wing candidate seen as the front runner. May the best candidate win 💯.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways at 29k, started the day at 28k. Let's hope June brings a little bit of the bulls.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day including laundry.Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some groceries and then headed back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤, dreaming off until sometime early evening when I got up feeling quite refreshed 💪. Then I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Israel,tensions high in East Jerusalem as thousands of ultra nationalists Jewish groups marched through the city on flag day, there were chaos as they clashed with Palestinians 😱. Across the pond in the US, president Biden is in Texas showing support to grieving families of the school shooting 😢. In Sri Lanka, more riots as people still want and demand the president to step down for mismanaging the economy😵.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. I followed my usual route and got back home as the darkness fell.
