Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I trust your weekend is going great. Mine has been wonderful and as always I am looking forward to sharing how my day went and also some of the trending stories I came across. Thank you for reading and let's dive in 💨.
I had a short morning session, consisting of a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. A cloudy day but with some beautiful fresh breeze 🍃.
Next I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. The election campaigning still in high gear as we head towards the general elections.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, Russia going ham in the Donbas regions of Luhansk and Donetsk, lots of shelling and destruction 😬.Polish president stopped by in Kyiv and addressed parliament. Elsewhere in Austria, the first case of monkey pox reported. I don't where it came from but I have been seeing reports of it lately. Luckily , they say it's not as contagious as covid👏.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways at 29k, extreme fear in the market, you need to be greedy 💯.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores including laundry. Most of the analysts have no idea what btc will do next, some predicting going lower to 23k, others sideways, then upwards jump, let's keep watching those markets.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then headed back.
Next came the usual nap 💤. Then woke up some time early evening. Today was the last day of the English Premier league, Manchester city emerged winners of 2021-2022 after beating Aston villa. Meanwhile, their rivals Liverpool, missed the trophy 🏆 despite of a win in their game 😢. There were about 6 games going on at the same time, so I was back n forth😹.
In crazy weather, parts of Spain have experienced a record heatwave for the month of May as temps reached 40°C in one city 😱.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. I made it back home 🏡 safe and sound as darkness fell.
