Hello everyone 👋,
TGIF 🍻🍷 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. The weekend is upon us and I had a splendid day. As always thank you for stopping by and please keep reading 👓 as I let you in on how my stepping went including some of the trending stories I came across. Here we go again 💨.
As always, I started early with the fast paced morning session. The beautiful morning breeze 🍃 made it quite enjoyable 💯. Come ten o'clock I was back indoors where I showered 🚿 and rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. The elections are up coming and the campaigning is in high gear.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, today finally some evacuation at the steel plant in Mariupol 👏. Russia still going ham in the eastern regions. Elsewhere in the UK , Boris Johnson's conservative party lost hundreds of seats in the just concluded regional elections,😱. The labour party won key London seats.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is down to 35k , stock markets also down 😢. Not a great start in May, but keep hodling 💯, don't keep staring at your screen, get out for a walk😹.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city centre 🌲 for a couple of errands. Walked around for a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤 dreaming off until sometime early evening. I got up feeling quite refreshed and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Sri Lanka, govt and private sector workers were on a general strike. The president has refused to resign despite lots of protests. Meanwhile life gets harder for citizens 😢. Elsewhere in Havana,Cuba. A deadly explosion ripped through a five star hotel 😱. They said it was caused by a gas leak. We hardly here anything from Cuba so this must have been seriuos.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
