Hello everyone 👋,
Give it up for Bob🐈 and yours truly on this amazing Caturday😻. You know how we do every Saturday. It is the last day of the month and the stepping continued unabated. Time to slow down and let you in on how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. Come on, let's get going 💨.
So just like yesterday, I started off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲.It drizzled last night so the ground was a little wet as I made my way.
Next I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Today was the burial of the 3rd president who passed away last week.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, Russia intensified shelling in the eastern areas of Donbas. An airport in the port city of Odesa was also hit😱. Meanwhile Russian foreign minister has warned US/NATO not to supply Ukraine with artillery 😵. Elsewhere in the UK, an MP has resigned after being caught watching porn on his phone in parliament, so naughty😹.
Over in crypto land bitcoin still at 38k most of the day. Let's keep watching how it performs in May, do keep hodling 💯.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some groceries, walked around the park 🌲 before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤. It was quite refreshing 💯 and I got up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, Haitians protested against rising violence, kidnappings and deaths caused by gangs fighting for supremacy 😱. A similar situation in some parts of Ecuador has led to the announcement of a state of emergency, gangs of drug dealers are running amok 😹.Elsewhere in the US, the premier of British Virgin islands was arrested on drug related charges at a Miami airport😵.
Crazy world, anyways as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk.A nice long slow paced walk enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
