🏏 The Thrilling Pakistan vs. England Match!
The day before yesterday was absolutely amazing for cricket fans! The match between Pakistan and England was played at Rawalpindi Stadium, and I enjoyed watching every bit of it.
1st Innings (Pakistan Batting):
England won the toss and decided to bowl first. Pakistan's openers haven't been in top form lately. Fakhar Zaman fell for a duck (0), Saim Ayub scored 8, and Babar Azam made 34. Kamran Ghulam (Baig) added 35, while Salman Ali Agha contributed 16.
The real middle-order fightback came from Hassan Nawaz, who scored a brilliant 79, Arafat Minhas (59), and Faheem Ashraf (39). Captain Shaheen Afridi remained not out on 10, while Haris Rauf scored 4 not out. With these contributions, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 302 runs in 50 overs.
2nd Innings (England Chasing):
England started strong with Tom Banton scoring 57, Ben Duckett 45, and Joe Root 33. However, after their top order fell, the rest of the lineup couldn't build big partnerships: Harry Brook (5), Sam Curran (27), Jordan Cox (18), Will Jacks (19), Jamie Overton (1), Gus Atkinson (7), and Adil Rashid (0).
Pakistan bowled England out for 215 runs in 38 overs, winning the match by a solid 87 runs!
🌟 Player of the Match: The star performer was without a doubt Arafat Minhas. He scored an impressive 59 runs with the bat and bagged 6 wickets with the ball, rightfully earning the Player of the Match award!
After enjoying the match, I went to sleep early because I had a busy market day scheduled for the next morning.
🛍️ Market Visit & Business Preparation
Normally, I visit the market towards the end of the month (around the 28th or 29th) to restock supplies for my shop. However, with an upcoming family wedding where I’ll be quite busy, I decided to finish the shopping early to avoid any last-minute stress.
The entire day was spent at the wholesale market buying stock.
I offered both Zohr and Asr prayers at the market and had lunch (a delicious Plao) there as well.
After a tiring day, I returned to my shop for the evening shift. Work went really well, alhamdulillah!
Even though I was exhausted, my good friend Yasin Bhai insisted on having dinner together. He is a fantastic friend, and we had a great meal and conversation.
🏏 Morning Cricket & Seasonal Fog
This morning, my friends and I had planned to play cricket. When we reached the ground early in the morning, the weather was amazingly cold! There was heavy fog all around, signaling that winter is finally arriving.
We played three single-wicket matches and one full match. Playing cricket in the fresh, foggy morning air was super refreshing!

جو کہ میچ کو کافی خوب انجوائے کیا اور اس کے بعد شام کو ٹائم سے سو گئے کیونکہ صبح مارکیٹ کے لیے بھی جانا تھا ـ تو کل مارکیٹ کا وزٹ کیا اور اپنے شاپ کے لیے سامان جو خریدنا تھا وہ خریدا ـ ویسے تو ہم روٹین میں مہینے کے اخر میں جایا کرتے ہیں کہ 28 29 تاریخ تک ـ لیکن اگے شادی انی ہے تو شادی میں مصروف رہنا ہے تو اس لیے میں نے کہا چلو ٹائم سے ہی سامان وغیرہ اپنا پورا کر لیں تاکہ بعد میں کوئی تنگی نہ ہو ـ
کل کے دن میں پوری دن مارکیٹ مصروفیت میں گزرا ـ جو کہ میں نے دوپہر کا کھانا بھی وہاں پہ کھایا اور ظہر اور عصر کی نماز بھی وہاں پہ ہی پڑی ـ
پھر شام کو کافی تھکاوٹ بھی تھی لیکن یاسین بھائی نے کہا کہ اج ہم نے اکٹھے کھانا کھانا ہے ـ کوئی یاسین بھائی کے ساتھ کھانے کے لیے گئے ـ
اس کے بعد صبح دوستوں نے بھی کہا ہوا تھا کہ کھیلنے کے لیے انا ہے پھر صبح گراؤنڈ پہنچے ماشاءاللہ کافی زیادہ موسم چینج ہو چکا ہے صبح اچھی خاصی دھند تھی ـ صبح ہم نے تین مرچ سنگل وکٹ کے کھیلے اور ایک میچ ویسے کھیلا ـ
کرکٹ کو بھی الحمدللہ کافی انجوائے کیا ـــــ
