Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. As always thank you for stopping by yet again 👏. It's right about that time to slow down and get ready for bed 💤. Before that we definitely have to quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending I came across.So let's do this, come on 💨.
Just like yesterday, I kicked off early with the fast paced morning session. Some nice brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. A cloudy morning but with a spectacular cool breeze 🍃.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Meanwhile, we are being warned of a likely new covid wave in May/June, welp, I think they just want more people to get vaccinated.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, today Russia did some shelling in a residential area in Kyiv😱. This as the UN chief Guterrez is still there holding meetings with president Zelensky. The audacity 😹.
Meanwhile, it's highly expected Russia will be threatening Finland and Sweden as they aim to join NATO😱.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways, today subtly up to 40k after being at 38 yesterday. Bitcoin is now legal tender in CAR, though only 15% of the population has access to the internet, they will definitely need lots of learning and new connections. The savvy people there are probably sick of using the CFA franc that is pegged to the Euro and used in 6 other countries in the region.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then made it back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤, it was amazing and I got up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, Turkish president Erdogan stopped by in Saudi Arabia for the first time since 2017, aimed at mending relations. Remember, Saudi journalist Khashoggi was brutally murdered in the Saudi embassy in Istanbul. It was so wicked his body has never been recovered😱.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. A nice long walk and now it's raining outside, hopefully the power won't go off.
