Hello everyone 👋,
TGIF ✴️ and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. The weekend is upon us and as the day draws to a close am raring to go with the day's stepping activities as well as share some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for being here and let's take it away 💨.
So as usual I began with a nice extended version of the morning session. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲 in the beautiful morning breeze 🍃.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. We have elections coming up in August so the campaigning is picking pace.
Globally, the absurd war in Ukraine kept going, Russia causing more deaths and destruction 😬. US president Biden stopped by in Eastern Poland, meeting American soldiers stationed there and seeing first hand the effects of the war. Earlier in Brussels the EU and US signed a deal for gas supply aimed at reducing Europe's reliance on Russia.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is up to 44k, looks like we are about to turn bullish 🐂. Remember we have been rejected three times at 45k, if bitcoin breaks this resistance we could be on to higher highs🙌.Keep hodling 💯.The stock markets are on the rise too.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then headed back home via the park 🌲.
Next came the usual nap 💤. I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending too, the Yemeni houthis launched an attack on Saudi oil fields in Jeddah 😱. Meanwhile Russia announced the end of phase one of their "military operation" in Ukraine, announcing 1300 of their soldiers dead😬; hopefully, they are giving up. Elsewhere, South Korea, China and Japan condemned North Korea for yesterdays reckless missile test.
Anyways, as the evening set in I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
