Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another wonderful and active day. As bedtime 💤 draws close am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share some of the trending stories. As always thank you for reading and let's get cracking 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off the day with the fast paced morning session. I definitely enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I brisk walked 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. Around eleven o'clock, I detoured and headed back home 🏡.
Indoors, I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going and so did the plannedemic vaccinations.
I hear there's a new covid pill from Pfizer, already approved by the EU . Hopefully we see an end to all this mess.
History has been made as Honduras inaugurated it's first female president 👏, hopefully she brings much needed change.
Elsewhere in the US, president Biden will make history by appointing the first African American woman to the supreme court🙌. This after one of the judges retires aged 83, he was a liberal appointed by Clinton,so expect she will be a liberal too. let's wait and see who it will be.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still continued it's sideways movement. It was at 38k yesterday now down to 35k😹.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and some of the analysts were of the idea that btc dipped after yesterday's meeting of the federal reserve, in which they agreed to raise interest rates. Let's keep watching, btc is like the honey badger, it doesn't care😹.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city centre 🌲 to finish off some of yesterday's errands. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 day as I made my way.
Then I was back indoors, where I had my usual nap 💤. It was amazing and I got up some time early evening feeling and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Today was International Holocaust Memorial day celebrated amidst resurgence of anti semitism in many places around the globe.
Also trending, Russia has said yesterday's responses from US and NATO largely ignored it's main concerns 😱. Elsewhere in Europe, Poland has began constructing a 5.5m high wall along it's 180km border with Belarus 😵. This to deter illegal immigrants from accessing their territory. We all know what Belarus dictator has been doing 😬.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅. An extended slow paced walk to wind down my day. I followed the usual route, neighborhood, park 🌲, shopping center and then neighborhood.
