Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's a new week and the stepping continued unabated. As always I am so grateful for this day💯. Alright, time to wrap things up and look back at how my day turned out including some of the trending stories I came across. Buckle up and let's get going 💨.
So just like yesterday I got the day started with a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. It was a chilly morning with some fantastic breeze🍃. Next I was back indoors where I rested, watched the news, did the little daily chores etc. My next walking came in the afternoon going for a few groceries at the shopping centre. Then I came back home did a little bit of crypto and politics youtube. Fell asleep for the afternoon nap, so refreshing as always. The last walking was the slow paced evening walk after 6pm, nice way to end the day. Next lets take a look at what's been trending.
Locally, political shenanigans kept going 😹 as we await for the start of the election case tomorrow. Voting was also underway in some counties that couldn't vote on the 9 th of this month.
Globally, Iraq trending, more political shenanigans as Muqtada supporters went wild with violent clashed around , in and out of parliament😱. They even broke into the presidential palace and had a swim in the pool😹. This after Muqtada tweeted that he had resigned from politics. A curfew is now in place with some reported deaths. Elsewhere, Pakistan says that a third of the country is under flood waters as they appeal for more aid for displaced people.
Over in Ukraine, UN nuclear inspectors arrived in Kyiv ready to go check that nuclear plant in Zaporizhzhia. Meanwhile fighting raged in the east and southern parts of the country especially the town of Kherson. Across the pond in the US, the launch of the moon bound rocket has been postponed until Friday due to engine cooling issue, whatever that means😹.
