TGIF 🍻🍷 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. The weekend is upon us yet again and I hope you are having a great day. My day has been amazing and I am really grateful for it. As always at this time am raring to go with the day's stepping activities plus some of the stories that trended all over the globe. So as usual I had two major walking sessions, starting off with the fast paced morning session brisk walking around the neighbourhood. The morning breeze 🍃 was chilly but really refreshing. Then I was back indoors handling the daily chores. I had another short session in the afternoon buying groceries at the shopping centre and then I was indoors cooking. As always I managed to squeeze in the usual nap💤. My last walk was the slow paced evening walk, just a nice lazy walk to wind down the day. In between I had been reading and also watching some of the news channels. So what's been trending?
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going, we are waiting for the election case to be lodged at the supreme court. Other than that a rather quiet day with nothing much happening.
Globally, in Ukraine, UN chief general stopped by the blacksea port of Odesa to see off that grain shipment, really crucial shipment that are going to avert hunger👏. Still on Ukraine, Russian president has agreed to let IAEA inspectors access that nuclear power plant in Zaporizhzhia, after phone call with French President Macron; very crucial to avert a nuclear disaster. Elsewhere in Finland, the Prime minister denied taking drugs after videos of her partying surfaced online😹. She took a drug test to prove. I think people should give her a break, she's only 36 and all work with no play.....
The crazy weather continues, today reports of flooding in some parts of Sudan and also down under in New Zealand. In Serbia, low water levels in some areas of the ocean/sea revealed WW2 wreckages😱.Elsewhere in China, looming drought and heatwave are causing drying in river Yangtze. Across the pond in Monterrey, Mexico water sources drying up in a looming drought.
