Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for, a new week and I have had a great day. It's now that time to slow down and fill you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. So I had two major walks, starting off early with fast paced morning session. I brisk walked around the neighbourhood. At least today the sun was out on a beautiful Monday morning with an amazing fresh breeze🍃. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores. later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center then was back home for some cooking followed by the usual nap. In between I did check out some trending and crypto news which I will share next. Finally I finished off the day with the slow paced evening walk.
So what's been trending. Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Everyone looking forward to tomorrow's swearing in ceremony of the new president, nothing to celebrate as I don't think anything will change.
Globally, the UK trending as the Queen's funeral arrangements are underway. Today in Edinburgh the coffin lay in the church as public passed paying their respect. Then a moment of vigil as the King and his siblings took a few minutes of silence.
Also trending, in 4 days the Ukrainian army has nullified 4 months of Russia's success as they got back swathes of land around Kharkiv that had been taken by Russians. More success in the South around Kherson👏.
Finally, Iran said that it is ready to co-operate to revive the 2015 landmark deal that was dealt a blow after Trump assumed office. They have always insisted that their nuclear program is for peaceful purposes but the IAEA has not been able to fully verify that claim.
