In the city where I live, wooden stairs were built to access the top of the mountain called Santa Justa. On this top of the mountain, in addition to having a total view over the city of Valongo, it is also possible to see the city of Porto.

These stairs are called "Escadaria da Cucamacuca". This pedestrian circuit, as I mentioned earlier, gives access to a new panoramic viewpoint in the Serra da Santa Justa, its in the Parque das Serras do Porto.

This pedestrian circuit has a length of 1.5km and it is quite tiring to climb those stairs, however at the end of the climb we have 2 prizes which are the beautiful views of the city of Valongo and on the other side the city of Porto.

Valongo is a city close to the city of Porto and with this type of attractions it has attracted a lot of tourism. I can say that since I've lived in this city forever, around 5 years ago on my walks through the mountains I didn't come across anyone. What doesn't happen nowadays, I come across a lot of groups.

For those who enjoy nature and are visiting the city of Porto, you can take advantage of this and in one of the activity stores in the city you can find a trail activity through the city of Valongo. I recommend it to anyone who wants to do a bit of sport in nature.
