Serras Porto - Portugal

The Serras do Porto is the most mountainous area in the municipality of Porto.
For those who like nature and are visiting the city of Porto, I advise you to come and hike the Serras do porto trails.

In these Mountains you will have spectacular views and with many challenges on the trails.

If you come to the trails again I advise you to bring appropriate clothes to do sports and that the shoes have a very hard sole because the trails have many stones and if your shoes have a soft sole it will be quite uncomfortable.

Here you will find rivers, hear many birds and, fundamentally, breathe fresh air.

The trails can take around 3 hours and you should be aware that there are trails that children are not advised to do, as there are certain paths with a great slope.

On the trails, always pay attention to the indications, because if you leave the trail you can find yourself on a dangerous path that has large gorges.

Spring is the best time for me to do the trails, as it's not too hot and I can handle the mountain climbs much better. In summer it is much more complicated, but of course it is possible. However, if you come in the summer, always have a bottle of water with you.
