Adriana had escaped from prison where she had been held for three years. Her "friend" Lorena convinced her to attend a party at a house where, to her bad luck, illegal sales were taking place and just that night there was a raid.

At the moment the police entered, she was caught in the bathroom and a young man who was handing out snacks was caught in the kitchen. All the others were able to escape. They were brought to trial. She was sentenced to five years, she believes that her physique or her sex did not favor her, there was no other explanation, because the young man with the pasapalos only got two years in jail. Her friend never went to visit her and she was left paying for a crime she did not commit.

The night she escaped, a fire broke out in the kitchen, she didn't know if it was arson, she just saw her chance to get out of jail. She succeeded. When the firemen arrived to put out the fire, a group of ten women were running outside the prison walls, through the dry bushes in search of freedom.

Adriana decided it was better to split up and go on alone. She took another path, one that led to some houses. She wanted to look for other clothes and take off her uniform. Her orange color would give her away.

It was dawn and she could hear a rooster crowing. She crept up to the first house she came across. In the courtyard lay sheets that shone white, navy blue jeans, white shirts and what caught her attention the most was a bright fuchsia bra and bikini set.

She didn't think twice and grabbed a pair of pants, a shirt and a fuchsia set.

Adriana entered one of the houses that was under construction, the place seemed to be very quiet. In a stream that had water, she washed her face and wet her red hair and felt like another person. She took off her clothes and it was as if she was shedding the outrages and humiliations she had accumulated. She looked at the fuchsia bikini, she didn't have to wear it but she wanted to, it was as if by doing so everything would change, it was a sign of good luck.

She put it on and it adjusted to her body, it adhered to her dry and pale skin in an embrace.

She left that place and walked very safely along the road, she heard the wailing of the police sirens, but they kept walking away, as if they had not seen her. She arrived in the city and in the middle of the street she found a $100 bill. She was very hungry and ate what she imagined when they served her breakfast in jail. Pancakes with butter and honey and a big cup of coffee with milk. Then she made a phone call and waited on a bench in the plaza.

A white car pulls up in front of the square. Adriana gets up and walks to the door and greets the young man with the pasapalos who has come to pick her up.
