They should have told Solomon that no kingdom last forever, or rather ask the extent to his life. Since the wisdom was for an appointed time, he could have found the cure for mortality, an end to death or perfect societal elixir of poverty and purely put an end to many life's misery.
But this man ended up dropping more nuggets in the holy book, more than necessary and the world he left behind that supposed to be smarter since they have a better template to life, the expected thing of us is smart, cool, higher IQ, a better society and rulership, clean and clear way of living, devoid of capitalism that has killed inspiration out of humans and make the want to go gaga.
