Is the rocket crashing?

Nex here! First of all, NuuuNNN says ¨So¨ A LOT. I like his posts because of that, he's a fun guy!

But I digress.

You've seen the title and the image and today we come to you with yet another discussion topic:

Did the Ethereum rocketship crash?

We've had some lift-off ripples that echoed far and wide and Ethereum got a massive boost, almost overtaking Bitcoin in an event that would be forever written in history as the ¨The Flippening¨, an event where ETH reached 35B in market cap and had a value of over 400 USD.

Well, so much for the skyrocketing to the moon, eh?

¨Vitalik... We have a Problem..¨

And don't get me wrong, personally I am a huge ETH enthusiast and I'm all for blockchain in general, but after the incident known as Flash Crash where ETH dropped to 13 USD, I got very disheartened.

But nevertheless, I discussed this with NuuuNNN and we quested for more information.

I wanted to believe that Ethereum is the future, that it will reach 1000 USD and be used as the new currency worldwide, whilst NuuuNNN was being my skeptical counterpart.

And he was, much to my dismay, right.

Ethereum isn't all that it's cracked up to be. I've seen a lot of negative feedback, much more than I can bear to witness.

But there is one thing in particular that took my sleep the last night.

Ethereum is switching to POS

I was worried sick! ¨What will happen to our rigs?¨ ¨What of our brilliant future helping blockchain develop by fueling the system?¨ - I cried out.

NuuuNNN, knowing how deep the rabbit whole went, told me he had contingency plans made all along.

Just so you guys are in the know, when ETH switches to POS, which will be sooner rather than later, all of us miners will become obsolete.

Obsolete.

All of the effort, time and money we, YOU put in, will be obsolete.

And this has been my internal battle, which is now external, since I hope you will share my pain, while NuuuNNN drinks a beer and just looks at me disaprovingly.
