馃 Kings Canyon, Watarrka National Park and Alice Springs by wanderingkat@wanderingkat

The main reason for the long journey to get there, was really to undergo the truest transformative experience of the spiritual heart of Australia and enjoy the spirits of peace, tranquillity and absorb the powerful energies while over there. Uluru was truly an experience of a lifetime and I hope my parents (who would love nothing more but to go there) get a chance to see it and experience it soon too. My dad did say he was there with me in spirit and he appreciated all the pictures I sent him while over there, so they were there in some way.

馃 Exploring An Underground Salt Cathedral 鉀笍 by aluskab888@aluskab888

About 70 million years ago, with the formation of a branch of the great Andes mountain range, one of the largest salt deposits in the world was born, in the municipality of Zipaquir谩, just 47 kilometers away from Bogot谩 city in Colombia (South America). The first to discover and exploit the richness of this salt mine more than 600 years ago were the Chibchas and Muiscas Indians, but it was the German scientist Alexander Von Humboldt who marked the beginning of a proper mining exploitation at the beginning of the 19th century.

馃 Marvelous Manito Park by generikat@generikat

My two friends and I hike and dine every Friday. It has been a lovely almost weekly tradition for the last year or so, and has introduced me to so many awesome discoveries around the magnificent Inland Northwest Region that we all call home. This week we had an interesting addition to our hike itinerary, my friend's son needed to be dropped off at the airport so he could go visit a friend in Boise for Halloween, so we decided to do something uncharacteristic and hike in Spokane.
