The place I want to tell you about is so historically rich and releases such strong emotions that it is not easy to convey all information and impressions in an orderly manner. Should I focus on history and monuments? Or on the visual impressions? On emotions? I certainly cannot focus only on the cold facts and beautiful buildings. Each such place draws deeper - into the lives of ordinary people. They are gone, but their energy remains, and I feel the connection with it. With this approach, it is impossible to write a text like "10 places worth seeing". Sometimes writing is a real ordeal ;)

🥈 One day trip to Similan Islands , Thailand by @george-topalov

Hello, again fellow travelers! Today I’d like to show you another great part of Thailand - Similan Islands. To get here you take a boat from Khao Lak and it takes about 1.5-2 hours to reach. We were staying at Phuket so it took additional 2 hours to get to Khao Lak in the first place. We had to leave our hotel at 6 AM and left for Similan Islands at 9:00 after our tour guide explained everything and we had a small breakfast.

🥉 Epic Hike to De Villiers Dam on top of Table Mountain Range by @zo3d

Yesterday my aunt and I took on an epic uphill hike to De Villiers Dam. It’s one of 5 dams found on top of the Table Mountain range that feed the freshwater system in some areas of Cape Town. Unfortunately, it’s a very long uphill slog to the top for 4.5kms along the jeep track and then the opposite all the way back down to the carpark.
