Today is the scheduled day that there will be a half-day power outage in my area so I decided to have a road trip since it's summer I can feel the hotness and it would be a great idea if I will deep into the water. The first plan was to visit Argao a neighboring municipality of Dalaguete but I was stopped by this spring Banhigan which is closer to Gakub Spring.

As you can see it's near the road. If you're from the city, you can pass it on your left side. This is a public spring where you can swim with no fees but the problem is if you have four wheels, there are no proper parking lots since it's along the road.

It was perfect timing today because it's not crowded not the same as last week even if it's Saturday. I saw a boy enjoying swimming while his mother was washing the clothes opposite to him.

Others might find it not good looking to swim while someone is washing but way back in the old history it's been part of the tradition since it's the number one source of water and gladly to see how people are still practicing it in the modern time.

This place has been a good memory to us when we were childhood with my siblings. We used to spend more time here swimming rather than going to the beach because it has its own beauty of nature. Unlike in Obong spring, this one is smaller.

I was not happy for what I witnessed because there were trashes everywhere. It saddens me that this will provide a negative impact not only for the environment but also the health of the people. I am hoping that soon this will be more developed and taken care because this kind of na to nature is rare and might be useful in the near future . Have a Good Saturday everyone.
