It has been a while since I have seen a beautiful sunrise on a calm sea, for I live in the mountains.
The last time I went home from Laguindingan airport, I witnessed a beautiful light while I was about to go home and hurry up for work.
Although I was sleepy since I left home so early, I felt alive as I saw the wonders of nature surrounding the airport. Indeed I was amazed by the beautiful surroundings with Sun, Sea, and soothing atmosphere.
When the Sun started to rise on a Wednesday morning, I found myself overwhelmed to take a walk near the airport and parked my car in an open space. I did capture quick photos as I looked at the scenic views all around the place.
It was around 6 a.m. The sky was starting to brighten with the beautiful sunrise with its vivid hues of bright orange, yellow, and gold.
The airport was near the sea. I could even see the grasses, trees, and wild plants surrounding the water. And it felt so good to hear the calming sound of nature, not to mention that the sight was truly mesmerizing.
Before I explored a picturesque view, I stopped and meditated for a while. Walking around the place, I saw several floating boats for tourists and travelers. I have seen it on social media before, but I have not tried going here since I found it so hot to stay there for a day. And these boats are designed for families, and group outings, which makes the place a tourist attraction.
It was a great day to have a Wednesday walk since the weather was fair. The puffy clouds had a great combination of bluish, white, and silver as the day was turning bright, and the cool sea breeze was very energizing and refreshing. So I felt like walking around the area before I went home to Bukidnon from Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.
While walking and exploring, I saw a row of bricks on the seaside. Later, I sat down and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise in the background. Honestly, it has been a while since I have seen such a beautiful sunrise on a calm sea since I am away from a fantastic sea. I must say that it made my day, and I could not escape a moment but smile.
Meanwhile, the beautiful Sun was slowly rising, and the sight of the waves was crashing against the shore, making the place so breathtaking. And I felt like I was in a movie scene, as I am. l enjoyed a priceless moment, and the experience was very surreal and unforgettable.
Although it was a quick drop since I was hurrying up for work, I felt grateful for this moment and the great chance to witness the beauty of nature in the most unexpected moment.
In reality, most uncaptured things are beautiful, but on some days, the captured moments would always leave a stunning mark in my solitary heart. Just like when I witnessed the glorious Sun fully rise, it was a moment to remember as I had a great Wednesday walk.
Afterward, I knew it was time to head home to work, so I captured many quick photos with many selfies. Still, I felt refreshed and rejuvenated despite the short time of being there as I was hurrying up so I would not be absent from my class.
Perhaps, it was a wonderful walk as I was walking and experiencing the beauty of nature that had made my day full of positivity. I must say that nature was my natural healer when I was walking near the airport on a Wednesday morning, and it was an exciting experience that I would forever cherish.
I wish I could witness a beautiful sunrise once more on a calm sea and feel the cool sea breeze. It may be simple, but I firmly believe that the simple things in life can bring me the most joy.
