me complacen sonrisas
historias de placeres increíbles
unidos al silencio de la lluvia
Así voy saboreando los instantes
los versos del poeta incrédulo
dichoso soy si percibo luz
si me iluminan estrellas al cerrar los ojos
Nadie percibe el desconcierto
el abandono nacido de la duda
Nadie abraza un sentimiento caído
ni detiene los pasos de la tormenta
Hay paisajes inhóspitos
más allá del horizonte
la incertidumbre confunde al caminante
lo premia con estrellas fugaces
y le muestra el sendero hacia el olvido.

I'll never know the scent of life
smiles please me
stories of incredible pleasures
united with the silence of the rain
Thus I savor the moments
the verses of the incredulous poet
I am blessed if I perceive light
if stars illuminate me when I close my eyes
No one perceives the bewilderment
the abandonment born of doubt
No one embraces a fallen feeling
nor halts the storm's steps
There are inhospitable landscapes
beyond the horizon
uncertainty confuses the traveler
rewards him with shooting stars
and shows him the path to oblivion.
