Finally, we made it to Venice Beach [Note: Disturbing pictures inside].
So, after activating the fury mode and going through the red mist for the first time, I found daylight after a long time and now I had to get the hell out of the sewers towards Venice Beach. I witnessed some weird wall paintings through this journey and do you think I reached Venice Beach after all?
Let's talk about the wall paintings that I witnessed there where I noticed this one at first that shows something was killing human race. I guess the livings painted these after the apocalypse started.
There were more of these paintings that looks both cool and scary at the same time, and though I didn't understand their meanings, I liked them.
And I believe this one is about the plane crush that started this game or some other plane crush that tries telling how the dead are connected to the crush.
There were some keywords on this painting like survive, kill, rebirth, slay, feed, fury, angel, meat, devil and there's a question and that's, "is this horror?" Hell yeah, such times are horror.
These paintings were probably trying to say how the brain of the zombies were going mad and they looks real good.
While I was getting excited witnessing all those paintings, suddenly I noticed that screamer there whom I tried shooting down but dude wears helmet so it gets hard to take them down and he alerted more zombies there so I just went and beheaded them all.
Then I found a workbench and got the chance to repair some of my weapons and upgrades some as well and at last I found the ladder that goes out of the sewer to somewhere. When I reached the ladder, it looked like it was the zone exit point and it gets me to the Venice Beach directly.
I tried getting to the beach and then Ryan was getting out of the sewers and was saying he won't get to any sewers again and then he came out of the sewers and it looked like it was bus parking lot.
Venice Beach was just beyond that point according to that board and when I was walking though these bus lanes, I noticed a zombie was eating something right above me. I tried getting up there but I didn't find a way, lucky zombie.
I had to keep going through the busses and I noticed all those bloodstains in this place. Then I had to go through that bus when both me and Ryan were confused about where we were as I was not seeing any beach there.
And finally, we reached Venice Beach. It felt real good when I reached this place cause you know, I was getting a beach vibe in my real life while playing this game after seeing those hotels and hearing the wind noise.
There were no zombies around for the moment so I took a moment to check this place around and I noticed there were barracks that says a patrol corridor beyond a point and canals beyond another.
Then I decided to walk forward to see what else was waiting for me and then I was notified that Santa Monica was miles up the coast from there and I was suggested to find a place to rest up.
And after I walked a little, I noticed a man, an alive man on a roof asking for help. Both me and Ryan were surprised seeing a survivor there and it seemed like that survivor was also surprised to see an alive man down here. And as soon as he saw me, there came two more and they started waving hands and was asking me to help them.
