Well,when I was in high school I used to go to english courses to get prepared for english exam.So like every kid,I was very fond of games.Counter Strike,Mortal Kombat,Age of Mythology,God of War(my favorite) Serious Sam etc.You notice that when you are interested in something learning english becomes so easier unlike those boring grammar books.But when I was playing those games I was seeing so many terms,words that always made me wonder what they meant.So I would look for the dictionary and learn new english words.The easiest way was in Age of Mythology as I did not need to go for dictionary.I saw all the units,animals,tools any kind of buildings.They were all well explained when you woud click on them.For example even if I dont know the meaning of ''Lion''when I click on the map on a lion there is a describtion of its name,what it eats almost anything that I needed to know about a lion.So I learnt these words without a need to translate them to Turkish.Isn't this awesome? English was so easy for me while my friends had many problems with vocabulary.So,if you see your children playing computer games,I recommend you not to interfere and let them learn as many english words as he can.At least they won't be bored while doing it.
