Today is the first time I've gone out with my new cell phone to take photos on the street. Although it was a pretty short walk—just from my house to my son's school—I took some photos very early in the morning (like the cover photo for this post) and others at noon. The sun was already very strong early on; at 7 a.m., the sky was a beautiful deep blue with light, scattered clouds that looked like wisps of cotton candy.
But this beautiful weather was already a sign that today would be an extremely hot day, and I can’t even begin to describe how awful it was. When I went to pick up my son from school at noon, it felt like my head was on fire, and my hair smelled like it does when I straighten it, hahaha. But this weather helped me see just how great the iPhone camera looks in this light—the colors really do look gorgeous and very vibrant.
I enjoy taking pictures of everything when I think the camera is good—maybe it's no big deal to a lot of people, but I can't explain just how much I love taking photos with my iPhone.
I also took pictures of two kittens that I always see around here and that say hi to me; the second one was cleaning itself when I got there to take a picture, hahaha—I was totally shocked.
I have to admit that I'm really embarrassed to take photos on the street, but I took all of these when I saw that no one was around, hahaha. Still, it's hard to focus or adjust the settings when you're in a rush. Even so, they turned out pretty nice, and I'm really happy with each and every one of them.
