Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
Do you remember how we used to be celebrating the SPUD (Steem Power Up Day) on the first day of each month on Steem? Let´s now keep this tradition here on Hive!
Technically, I am always one day ahead of this monthly event as I usually do my biggest power ups on the last day of the month to meet my long term goal of increasing my Hive Power by at least 1,000 Hive every month but it still feels like a contribution to this great initiative and I am always happy to share my latest progress with you ;)
Today, on May 1, I am proud to say that April was a truly outstanding month for my power up efforts as it witnessed what turned out to be my highest monthly power up ever at exactly 3,000 Hive.
On the last day of March, I was celebrating the 20,000 HP milestone with you in this post and just one month later, on the last day of April, I was enjoying this beautiful view in my Hive wallet :)
Sure, it was mostly because of me continuously exchanging a large portion of my powered down Steem for Hive that I have been able to achieve this feat but whatever, it still counts :) Now with the higher price of Hive, it will be very difficult to repeat it in May but I will be trying to power up at least 2,000 Hive this month so that I can celebrate the long awaited half orca status (25k HP) on the last day of May ;)
