A few days ago, I started playing HiveGrove. I began with the free Seed Tree and decided to buy an Oak Tree as well. I thought, why not give it a shot? It could be a fun way for me to get active on the Hive blockchain again and reconnect with the community.
So far, I’m really enjoying it. It kinda feels like I’m rediscovering my passion for social media on Hive. Instead of just posting and scrolling, HiveGrove gives me another reason to interact, engage, and meet people around the platform.
What impressed me the most is the HiveGrove community itself. Even as a newbie, I never felt like there was some huge barrier to joining the conversation. Players are welcoming, helpful, and actually interact with each other. For me, that social side is what makes the game hit different compared to some of the other games I’ve tried.
There are also daily missions that let players earn leaderboard points. I think that’s a pretty cool way to encourage everyone to stay active. So yeah, I decided to challenge myself and see if I can eventually make it into the Top 20.
I started a few days late, so I definitely have some catching up to do. But as I play every day and complete as many missions as I can, I’ve noticed my ranking slowly improving. At this point, I feel like I might actually have a shot at reaching the Top 20.
Still, I’m not getting ahead of myself. There are some seriously competitive players out there, and obviously I’m not the only one aiming for a higher spot on the leaderboard. The grind is real, haha.
But leaderboard or not, I think the bigger win is actually having fun. Connecting with other players, building your network, helping each other out, and making new friends along the way—that’s what makes the experience worth it for me.
So yeah, wish me luck on my HiveGrove journey! And if you haven’t tried the game yet, maybe give it a shot too. Come grow some trees, meet some fellow Grovers, and most importantly, just have fun!
