During my stay @ Gili Trawangan, I went to Manta dive, which is one of the most popular diving companies @ the Gili's. There I did the SSI open water diving course. After practicing some skills in a swimming pool, we went for our first dive in open sea. Going under for around 45 minutes to a depth of 18m or 60 ft was quite an experience. Once you are comfortable with breathing, it becomes an unforgettable experience.
One of the main attractions @ the Gili's are the magnificent sea turtles.
