La Verna, Franciscan Sanctuary, 06/08/2019
It is said that darkness never can overcome light. It is because even the tiny light of candle can remove darkness at one time. However, light also has no reason to exist without darkness and has no meaning of existence itself alone. If there was only light, or only darkness, how would you call it light, and how would you call it darkness? We cannot recognize light or darkness that exist alone. There be no concept of light or darkness without counterpart. They could be perceived because they exist interdependently. Likewise there is no only begotten. He is because he would not have been born without his mother. So is God. It cannot exist by itself. Who will prove its existence if there is no person who perceive the presence of god? So there is nothing without coexistence. God is no exception.
Thanks to my friends, I could conveniently come here, La Verna, Franciscan Sanctuary. I wandered here and there in the square of the monastery and greeted the first night. Calmness in the middle of mountain made me philosopher and enjoyed the beautiful night.
