時當喧雜則平日所記憶者皆漫然忘去 境在淸寧則夙昔所遺忘者又恍爾現前 可見靜躁稍分̖昏明頓異也 (後 38)

When you are busy and noisy, you become numb and forget what you remembered in your daily life. When you are in clear and quiet place, things that have been forgotten in the past arise clearly. Therefore, interchange of quietness and noise just makes darkness and clarity be suddenly reversed. (Book2 38)

Not physical stillness, but the absence of change in heart is true stillness. And should add up clarity.
