Truth be told, i can't really define what the hive reputation really stands for because i usually asked myself series of questions about the hive reputation; I have been on this blockchain for the past years, starting from steemit before we were migrated to the better blockchain which we found out that it's hive community blockchain. When I joined, the reputation started from 25 which racked a whole number of 45 making it 70 now. It was a great journey.
Before I could racked up my reputation to 70, I did all I could to make sure I get myself here with series of posting and all that which was actually what brought about the consistency. I made myself so consistent as if getting to 70 will won me a medal or big price but far from that,I wanted it. The thing is,most people we started together have left me behind, that's one of the reasons that made me to be consistent on the blockchain.
It's at a spot I realized that, reputation moves up faster with amount of upvote your contents are able to attract and if you wanted to get good upvote, you have to be consistent with good contents. Any downvote can slow down your reputation or drag it down to negative reputation which is below 25 reputation. It's safe to say that the hive community reputation breeds about the consistency for me.
