Hello everybody! My name is Pedro, I am 21 years old. I was born in Bolivar, Venezuela. Currently, I live in Maturin and I dedicate myself to be a base soccer coach. From a very young age, soccer has been my great passion thanks to my father, who was a fan of the sport and also an amateur player.
In addition to my work as a coach, I study Refining and Petrochemical Engineering at the Bolivarian University of Venezuela. I consider myself a sociable person and fortunate to always receive good things from life. Although I am not introverted, I am not extroverted either. I like everything related to chemistry and I am always looking to learn something new.

¡Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Pedro, tengo 21 años Nacido en Bolívar, Venezuela. Actualmente, vivo en Maturín y me dedico a ser entrenador de fútbol base. Desde muy pequeño, el fútbol ha sido mi gran pasión gracias a mi padre, quien era un aficionado del deporte y también un jugador amateur.
Además de mi trabajo como entrenador, estudio Ingeniería en Refinación y Petroquímica en la Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela. Me considero una persona sociable y afortunada por recibir siempre cosas buenas de la vida. Aunque no soy introvertido, tampoco soy extrovertido. Me gusta mucho todo lo relacionado con la química y siempre estoy buscando aprender algo nuevo.

During my time as a soccer player, I was on the verge of being a professional player at my young age of 15. I was an aspiring member of the youth academy of Futbol Club Real Madrid, but due to a fibula injury, I had to retire from the sport for a while. However, this did not stop me and I continued to pursue my passion for soccer.
Recently, I had a very moving experience as a coach when one of my players approached me to tell me about his personal problems. Instead of continuing with the training, I decided to sit and listen to him for almost an hour. At the end of the conversation, the player hugged me and thanked me for listening to him. That day I realized that my job as a coach is not only about teaching sports skills, but also about being a mentor and friend to my players.

Durante mi tiempo como jugador de fútbol, estuve a punto de ser un jugador profesional a mi corta edad de 15 años. Fui aspirante a miembro de la cantera del Futbol Club Real Madrid, pero por una lesión en el peroné, me tuve que retirar del deporte por un tiempo. Sin embargo, esto no me detuvo y seguí adelante con mi pasión por el fútbol.
Recientemente, tuve una experiencia muy conmovedora como entrenador cuando uno de mis jugadores se acercó a mí para contarme sus problemas personales. En lugar de continuar con el entrenamiento, decidí sentarme y escucharlo durante casi una hora. Al final de la conversación, el jugador me abrazó y me agradeció por escucharlo. Ese día me di cuenta de que mi trabajo como entrenador no se trata solo de enseñar habilidades deportivas, sino también de ser un mentor y amigo para mis jugadores.

Although my university career is demanding, I am committed to doing my best and achieving my academic goals. I am passionate about learning about the chemical and physical processes involved in the production of petroleum and its derivatives, as well as the elaboration of petrochemical products.
At my university, I have had the opportunity to participate in various projects and activities related to my career. One anecdote I can tell is when I participated in a research project on the production of biofuels from organic waste. It was an enriching experience that allowed me to apply the knowledge acquired in class and work in a team with other students.

A pesar de que mi carrera universitaria es exigente, estoy comprometido a sacar lo mejor de mí y lograr mis objetivos académicos. Me apasiona aprender sobre los procesos químicos y físicos involucrados en la producción de petróleo y sus derivados, así como también en la elaboración de productos petroquímicos.
En mi universidad, he tenido la oportunidad de participar en diversos proyectos y actividades relacionadas con mi carrera. Una anécdota que puedo contar es cuando participé en un proyecto de investigación sobre la producción de biocombustibles a partir de residuos orgánicos. Fue una experiencia enriquecedora que me permitió aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos en clase y trabajar en equipo con otros estudiantes.

In addition to my passion for refining and petrochemical engineering, I am also interested in the impact these industries have on the environment. Therefore, I hope to be able to contribute in the future to the implementation of more sustainable and environmentally friendly processes in these industries.
In conclusion, my college career is an important part of my life and I am dedicated to making the most of this educational experience. I feel fortunate to be able to study at a university that gives me the necessary tools to develop as a professional in the field of refining and petrochemical engineering, besides being able to have a job in what I am passionate about as a retired player, in order to turn the small dreams of promising children into a reality and every day to bring them closer to their dream, one that I could not achieve that gives me the satisfaction of being able to instill the bases and knowledge that gives us this beautiful sport as it is soccer.

Además de mi pasión por la ingeniería en refinación y petroquímica, también me interesa el impacto que estas industrias tienen en el medio ambiente. Por ello, espero poder contribuir en un futuro a la implementación de procesos más sostenibles y amigables con el medio ambiente en estas industrias.
En conclusión, mi carrera universitaria es una parte importante de mi vida y estoy dedicado a aprovechar al máximo esta experiencia educativa. Me siento afortunado de poder estudiar en una universidad que me brinda las herramientas necesarias para desarrollarme como profesional en el campo de la ingeniería en refinación y petroquímica, además de poder contar con un trabajo en lo que me apasiona como un jugador retirado, con un fin de poder convertir los pequeños sueños de niños promesas en una realidad y cada día poder acercarlos mas a su sueño, uno que yo no pude alcanzar eso me da la satisfacción de poder inculcar la bases y conocimientos que nos brinda este bello deporte como lo es el futbol.
