Greetings, everyone!
Why is there violence in the world?
Violence didn't start by watching movies, listening to the news, and playing games. The violence started when many of us were not from our mother's womb. The violence we are experiencing today, circulated everywhere, in government, homes, marriages, and other fields came as a result of the fallen nature of humanity for good and evil. God's intention wasn't for men to go to war, face violence, or experience hardship, but sin came in, and things were torn apart. This is how violence came to stay in our world.
Even the scripture recorded that violence started in the Bible, where Cain kills his brother, Abel, out of jealousy. This was how violence, by extension, occurred in our present generation. And violence will continue to be in the world.
Most of us came to see and hear how violence is performed or acted in the movies, in games, in the government, and at home. People get oppressed, humiliated, killed, and other atrocities committed due to the evil intentions of men. That's why we need to "guide our heart, with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."
With the way economic inflation is going in Nigeria, if the citizens do not guide their hearts, looting will come in, robbery, and killing of people. All these start in the heart of the people before action is done.
Take a look at the family, where parents, children, and other relatives are. Without the parents being watchful, their children will grow up and bring disaster to society. Parents who call themselves husbands and wives hit one another with hard or harmful tools, fighting and causing a lot of traction on social media, making it look as if marriage doesn't work.
The government will be on seat for years; during their tenure, they won't make an impact or influence with the available resources for the betterment of the citizens to live a comfortable life. Instead, they embezzled everything to themselves. Inflicting poverty upon poverty upon people, and they think violence will not occur. Of course, violence will always be because of people's evil intentions implanted in their hearts.
Violence seems to increase daily
Yes, violence seems to increase daily because the hearts of people don't want to change from evil to good for the decrease of violence. It was started by the human son, and it will be put to an end by the determination of men and by the intervention of the Almighty God.
Here is my suggestion to combat this growing problem
My suggestion is that there is love, forgiveness, and peace in the hearts of men. Without these virtues in the heart of men, violence will continue but with these virtues, there will be a whole lot of transformations in the life of the people. If all the men in the world will come in one accord and spirit and agree to administer love to each other, forgiveness to one another, and peace to all men, it will affect every area of our lives, in marriage, homes, government, business, and every other aspect.
Therefore let's strive for good reports. When we love, forgive, and are at peace, there will be violence, no hatred, no looting, no killing, and more.
These three virtues, with the help of God, can change the world for good.
