Greetings, everyone
Someone very close to me, in fact, related by blood, that's my Uncle, made a wrong assumption about me, and I knew, but I didn't put my mind there because it wasn't written on my face, nor have I done it.
Tell us about a time when someone made a wrong assumption about you, without knowing the facts. How did you deal with it? How did it make you feel?
It was a wrong assumption he made about me about someone who wanted to help me as my sponsor. That assumption brought disconnections between my sponsor and me, and at the end of the day, God specially vindicated me. My sponsor later realized that what he said about my total falsehood, he got disconnected from him as well, and focused on me.
I knew what went wrong, and I decided to remain calm and humble, trusting in my God for a testimony. I wasn't becoming defensive at all. I let it go and then fixed my mind on God.
And God came through for me in a wonderful way. And this lesson taught me to remain when being talked down, and it taught me not to close doors of blessing from others and not to stop others from being favored by others.
