Greetings, everyone
What is currently trending in my country is unemployment among our youth. Many of them have finished their degrees, Master's, PHD even Doctorate degrees still searching for a job. It's a conversation that is growing now to diversify means for the youth to develop their skills to be saleable and become entrepreneurs of their own, and make money and employ others too.
Jobs are indeed becoming scarce these days, and unemployment is something that can't be shared. That's why some of our young people are involved in illicit acts and attitudes, stealing, robbery, and all sorts of things that are unbearable. And I think, if our youth develop their skills, it will help them become better versions of themselves now and in the future. There are some with great ideas, and if opportunity is given to them to bring those ideas into reality for the benefits of our country, State, communities, and families.
Even if employment is available for our youths, it will not incorporate every youth in our country. Employment opportunities are by luck; if you get a better one it is by God's Grace, if they don't get it, God doesn't change who He is. God is still God. He has given us the power to make wealth, it could be through our wisdom, our hands, our skills, or any means that is genuine and can impact lives.
It will be a very great idea, if our youths can create something out of nothing, it will be of great use and value to our nation.
If the Government and other parastatals can create an awareness among our youth to develop their skills instead of waiting for a white-collar job to land. White collar is good, the opportunity is given, and they merge with their businesses.
Therefore, unemployment is one of the things that is trending now in our country, and the government should look into it and also spur our youth or stir up their interest in a business and creativity hub.
