Greetings, everyone!
My response to this contest is that hate speech should not automatically become a crime committed simply because it's hurtful or offensive; rather, it should be worked on, or carefully choose your words wisely to avoid public embarrassment and more to say.
Hateful words shouldn't be criminalized as the person speaking is caught stealing or killing someone, no it shouldn't be so.
Yes, we have the freedom of speech, but it doesn't mean we should speak anyhow in public especially to someone, it can be demonic because people's hearts are not totally genuine. I can vividly recall a man who made a statement, I don't know if it was hurtful about a particular Government, and the Governor himself heard it. The next moment, the man who made that statement was assassinated by a group of armed people, not known. So we should be careful with our choice of words when we are in the public space to avoid being cut off on earth.
And the government should not see hateful speech or move for criminal prosecution because of hateful speech. Our words are very powerful; they can make you or another person, and they can mar you or your friend. Let's be careful not to be prosecuted.
