Birds of the same feathers flock together.
In the arena of life, the aphorism is widely and obviously seen happening. Talk of friendship and it is clearly crystal, two people agree to move together when they are in one accord. They called themselves friends because they share something in common. Talk of what they have and keep them going as friends, and they would gladly share their bonds with you. Indeed they have same feathers that make them flock together.

Of course, you would have been advised by parents or guardian or probably have heard an elderly advising their children. What did you hear? Did you hear nothing less or more than be careful with people you choose as friends, ran throughout their advice?
Before you choose someone for a friend, get to know him or her very well. Know what you have in common, how compatible you both are. Those who believe in what you believe should you walk with. Have you forgotten how they insisted of walking with someone who adds value to you?
On the sphere of love, which is actually my main reason for this writ, the adage has two arms. The arm that agrees to the aphorism in the sense that two must understand each other to flow together. And the arm that explains love bridges every gulf.
The adage confined me for countless times when I met her. Talk of approaching and the voice would strike what do you have in common? The only fear was how could I meet her basic needs or wants? Yes I agree I am far behind to meeting these physical needs perhaps.
