The older you get, the more you realize how important time is and that it should not be wasted.

I often share this with my friends, and sometimes those who cannot relate actually laugh and mock me. I told them that while growing up, when I was young, I used to be scared by the fact that I was going to grow up one day and would not get to play the way I was playing right then. I would just have to be boring, as I didn't see adults playing.

And don't think it's just this one. I had a lot of concerns while growing up. While I was reading cryptoandcoffee@cryptoandcoffee writing post I remembered my thought in the primary school. I did my primary school in a private school, and when I was going to my secondary school, just before I was about to write the final exam, my parents took me to a public school. So, before I got to the public school, I was thinking that none of the students could stand with me academically. I might even be bragging with the teachers because of the reports we are hearing about public schools, that they were not too serious. Reaching there, it was a different thing entirely.
I was sound and intelligent even as a kid but in my case, I had pride and my pride was humbled when I get to the new school. I used to take 1st position in my formal school but guess what position I took the first year in my new school: position 11. (How the mighty has fallen).

It is fascinating how these things happen. No one will actually force a kid to stop playing around. As he or she begins to come of age, they realize what they must do.
It literally goes to our day-to-day experience. When you are conscious of time, you will see that time is not running, but when you get your mind off it and get yourself busy and all that, before you know it, the time has way passed.

In these era?

And I heard that there are still people in this era who can just wake up in the morning without a definition of what they want to achieve for that day. They are like a paper in the wind and just flow to wherever the day takes them.

My grandmother will tell me that when you wake up in the morning, set goals for yourself for that day, and before you go to bed, examine if you achieved your goals. How many did you achieve? She said that's a very good habit to grow up with, and I'm glad I heeded that instruction.

Who would have thought that the same Patricia who was so afraid of being an adult because she would not get to play is now the same person living her adult life to the fullest? Everyone would have thought that. It's never a big deal because, as time goes on, you naturally outgrow such fears and thoughts.

It is already evening, and I'm sitting outside receiving some fresh air.

So, I took these pictures while coming back home.
