I finally have some yarn spun up with chiengora (dog shedding) to show you. If you remember, I talked about the eco-frendliness of using this millennia old technique to keep warm and take some stress off our environment.
Using up that fluff your pooch leaves on everything (including you) to make items to use keeps it out of our landfills and waterways.
What you are seeing before you is a mixture of wool and silk with the shedding from a St.Bernard added in. Note: I did not just brush a dog and toss this in, the dog in question had just been cleaned and groomed. Always wash your shedding like any other fiber you plan to use.

Loving this result! Contrary to its appearnce, This came out very soft with a lovely halo effect from the shedding that will improve over time as the resulting hat is worn!
This yarn totally wants to be a beanie.
