If you answered hidden... you're right!!
To be true, a few of them are spotted in plain sight, but more often than not, it takes a little more work to spot them. Especially with some bird species, it's a lot more asy to hear them than actually see them!
Fortunately, some of them walk a bit out of their hiding places, such as this Northern Jacana!
With the thick foliage in Tortuguero National Park, in Costa Rica, I was lucky to see her foraging!
Other birds were hiding in the marshes, but their size gave them away a little quicker, such as this beautiful Tiger heron.
But no, birds aren't the only ones that are in hiding. Mammals are most of the time even harder to see than birds. And yet, thanks to my zoom camera, I could see where one of them was hidden, way high in the trees!
Some of the mammals thow, just don't care. They rest in plain sight, and if they don't like the photographer, what do they hide?
Their faces!! 馃榿馃榿
