Remembering the last weekend out I was able to enjoy before the world got a little crazier. A small village at the portuguese coast, but this time, instead of going down the coast... I went up! And loved it.
For quite some time I wanted to visit this location. A quiet setting, near the sea and nature... and with the added bonus of a very photogenic lighthouse! Funny how lighthouses always seem to look great in photos.
Not that nature lacks in beauty here. In fact, brave sea and dangerous rocks are views not to be missed, and they make the lighthouse's task even more important.
The sea here is a little fiercer than to the south of the country, but the long stretches of sand are present here as well.
I spent the day walking around in good company, enjoying the fresh air and the views, and the way the perspective of the lighthouse changed with the light. At dusk, it didn't seemed that imponent.
Although to be fair, at that time the real show was a little off the horizon line.
Cloudy sunsets are even more beautiful, and even more if there's wildlife as well.
In the morning thow, it was the lighthouse's time to shine again; the morning mist came, and created a lovely atmosphere for a last photo.
So here you have it... a little more from this small corner of the world! And as soon as I get some free time, and we're allowed to roam free, there's still a ton of the country to discover!
