A little bit behind schedule for my monthly recap post, but for a good reason: the last week was spent recharging batteries, thinking about life, and being a tourist in my own country. I've visited a coastal city that I was wanting to know for quite some time, and revisited Portugal's only national park... 20 years later! But more on that on future posts, now it's finances time.
I didn't got around using Leofinance's new UI, since threads still don't appeal me that much and reading/ writing longer form posts was not that great of an experince, but fortunately the team has been improving the UI, and after reading about it decided to give it a try again! Some feedback down the post.

I wanted to have gathered more hive, but even though it wasn't possible, is still enough to help those 10k become a reality already in this current month. Besides, been trading some revenue of the various hive games to hive on hive-engine, and will use it to do a decent power-up this month if seen to be falling short on that goal. Almost there!! My HBD and Leo stack are also growing, slowly but steadily.
So, about the new UI. One of the things that I really dislike is the place of our username. Having it on the lower left corner is not that intuitive for me, and having our profile separated from it in the middle of the menu also seems redundant. Why not join both? Clicking on your name would immediatly take you to your profile, maintain the submenus of switching accounts. One less item to worry about.
And would change the position of it, either higher in the left panel, or even on the right, below the search bar.
One of the things that also doesn't seem to be working are the drafts. I've lost some of the work while writing this, tried to test the draft saving again to see if I had screwed up, but the draft saving option definitely doesn't seem to work.
Tables still doesn't seem to be displayed properly in the preview, so unsure how will they appear when the post goes live. And altough I've seen some photos in long form posts displayed correctly, the photos I've uploaded to this post don't display either.
I do appreciate all the work done in improving the UI; I totally agree that short form content is crucial to growth, but long content form can't be overlooked, so it's great to see work being done on that end. Still not perfect, but I'll trust things will only get better. Growing pains, right?
One last suggestion: having a dedicated button for official leofinance's publications; I've stumbled upon the post about the UI improvements, but it wasn't easy finding it later, only going to leofinance's profile. With a dedicaten button , it would make it way easier to follow the developments here.
