Hola, benvenid@s a otra edición de Mujer con "M" de Mamá desde la comunidad Womentribe. Como lo dije en la última publicación de la columna, en este mes de noviembre me pongo de lado de las madres que sufren por causa de la violencia en sus distintas formas solo por ser mujeres. Sabemos que este es un problema grave que a causado gran daño a las mujeres que han padecido horrores a manos de hombres machistas. Quienes no han pasado por ello, solo pueden imaginarlo pero no está demás demostrar empatía y por eso la ONU ha establecido el 25 de noviembre como el Día Internacional en Contra de la Violencia hacia las Mujeres.

Esta edición va ser corta pero con un mensaje puntual porque es muy importante que pongamos atención hacia el maltrato que sufren algunas mujeres que son madres, pues ellas sufren en silencio creyendo que así pueden proteger a sus hijos. Ellas están dominadas por el miedo sin darse cuenta que existe otro peligro y es que los hijos varones pueden convertirse en victimarios, al crecer viendo el abuso de los padres o padrastros. Entonces, continuando con la unidad como mujeres con "M" de mamá, deseo enviar un nuevo mensaje a todas las madres en pro de la concienciación contra este flagelo social, recordándoles la invitación a unirse a la iniciativa para que puedan aportar alguna vivencia o mensaje en torno a este tema que aunque es difícil es necesario encarar.

Eres valiosa

Las mujeres maltratadas pueden darse una oportunidad, reconociendo que tienen valor y que pueden denunciar el caso de violencia a las autoridades sin miedo. Deben ser ellas quienes rompan las cadenas que las oprimen para liberarse y también a sus hijos. No las dejemos solas y sobre todo que ellas sepan que no lo están.

Hello, welcome to another edition of Mujer con "M" de Mamá from the Womentribe community. As I said in the last publication of the column, in this month of November I stand on the side of mothers who suffer because of violence in its various forms just for being women. We know that this is a serious problem that has caused great harm to women who have suffered horrors at the hands of macho men. Those who have not been through it can only imagine it, but it is important to show empathy and that is why the UN has established November 25 as the International Day Against Violence Against Women.

This edition will be short but with a timely message because it is very important that we pay attention to the abuse suffered by some women who are mothers, because they suffer in silence believing that they can protect their children. They are dominated by fear without realizing that there is another danger and that is that their sons can become victimizers, as they grow up seeing the abuse of their fathers or stepfathers. So, continuing with the unity as women with "M" for mom, I want to send a new message to all mothers to raise awareness against this social scourge, reminding them of the invitation to join the initiative so that they can contribute some experience or message about this issue that although it is difficult, it is necessary to face.

You are valuable

Battered women can give themselves a chance, recognizing that they have value and that they can denounce the case of violence to the authorities without fear. They must be the ones to break the chains that oppress them to free themselves and their children. Let us not leave them alone and above all let them know that they are not alone.
