Summer in winter, as the day was absolutely clear!
Join us for a short drive around town today that ended at the beach. One would never say that it is supposed to be winter here in the Cape.
Sunshine with a gentle cool breeze belied the fact that we had gale force winds and rain over the past two days. One had a feeling that the storm never happened.
Let's have a look.
Early morning the moon assured me that the sky is clear!
We spotted two young squirrels playing!
Then we stopped for a while at the beach!
To be greeted by this guy and his gang!
This is a trick shot, as the surfer is far away from the paddlers!
Here we have a grandfather with his construction crew!
And a grandmother helping her granddaughter!
A mom playing with her little guy!
Oy! Two babies and two doggies! Double trouble Lol.
Like I said, it's as if the recent severe storms never existed. Several news agencies listed so much damage created by the cold front accompanied by heavy rains and fierce winds, but today the sun seemed to erase all memories of the storms.
As usual, this brings me to our human existence and some severe personal storms that each of us had to face in our lives. Scarred by the winds of hurt and troubles, every time the sun rose again afterwards.
Hope is the anchor in my own life. Hope that I will treat all others as I want to be treated and hope that God will continue to be my light in troubled times. Hope that I can improve my tomorrows by what I am doing today by allowing kindness to lead the way.
After every storm the sun will always shine!
We hope you have enjoyed the photos and thank you for visiting @papilloncharity
