I will show you yesterday afternoon and this morning in here.
We have been waiting anxiously for the rain, as the dams need to be filled.
Last night we thankfully had tons of rain drumming on our roof and what a blessed sound to lay in bed and allow the sound to lull one into sleep.
I have not been sleeping well lately, and up at weird early morning hours, but last night I slept well thanks to the rain.
This post shows you late yesterday afternoon when the rain started, and early this Sunday morning.
Come and see.
This was late yesterday afternoon, and the squirrels knew that the rain was coming. Look how cute they look with their Winter jackets on.
Did I tell you that they knew that the rain was coming, and they needed to stash their food supplies.
Later we were on our way to an appointment and you can see the approach of the rain.
This was when the rain started and you can see this cute little one using it's tail as an umbrella, and keeping it's paws warm.
Now this is this morning and Marian was out to see to the needs of Mother nature's residents.
It was still raining but not very hard, so when little persons have to eat they can cope with the rain.
Finally one of my favorite photos taken yesterday afternoon.
I am sure that we all struggle a bit lately with the fall of the Hive prices that are reflected on our posts and if only the rising food prices would show the same trend. The war in the Ukraine has also affected the rise in the food prices over here and the people in the poor areas can simply not afford it. We hope that some interventions will appear soon from the government side, but there is not much hope as we also now face the highest price in our gas prices in the history of the country.
Bad news all, but tomorrow the sun will shine again.
So we just have to endure the hiccups that we face nowadays and try to do the best that we can. I know that for many, this is not easy and the main thing that worries me, is that millions of children go to bed hungry at night. If I had my own way, I would halve all government salaries and put the savings into sustainable projects to feed the poor. Our government ministers and top business heads earn millions per month, while the ones right at the bottom of the food chain earn nothing. This is totally unbalanced and sooner or later we will face severe riots.
Such is life.
And That's All Friends.
