I was zooming in on the Malachite Sunbird, when a noisy plane suddenly appeared.
The bird flew away, and I decided to zoom in on the plane. Just as well as I did, as the pilot was doing stunts in the sky, and he seemed to be a real professional. I have to admit that I saw, and posted a plane doing stunts before, but I am not sure if this was the same one. It has a very loud sound, and in the twists and dives the pilot simply closed the throttle. I don't know if he switched the engine off, or simply took his foot off the gas pedal, as the plane dived down without the noisy sound. It was great to watch his adventure in the air.
There he was, and I don't blame the sunbird for taking off, as you can see in the photo above that the sunbird was also watching the plane.
Now come and watch all of the action here below.
At first was the silent dive (2 shots below).
Then he started to turn the plane belly up.
And here the noise of the engine started again.
And finally, he flipped the plane upright and was cruising back to the airfield where he came from.
I have always wanted to pilot a plane, and as a little boy I watched whenever I heard a plane in the sky, but sadly when I was conscripted into the army I applied for pilot training, but it was decided that I am color blind. Not completely, but I still to this day cannot discern the different shades of primary colors. I have made my peace with it, and I think that it was not meant for me as I was a bit of a reckless guy. Lol
The sad news is that my grandson also applied for pilot training, and guess what? He also failed the color test, but like me, he also accepted it and he has simply applied for the option of another job in the airforce. My daughter told me this, and she has never mentioned to him that I wanted to become a pilot in the airforce of the army. Strange as the saying is that the apple never falls far from the tree, and in my mind, it is a sure truth. Life is full of surprises, as I could never have expected that plane to appear today, and let me tell you that the pilot impressed me with his talents and expert flying abilities. The what ifs are always with us, and we simply have to deal with the cards that life deals us.
Such is life.
